About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team at Rouse Partners LLP. As a key member of our audit and accounts team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other accountancy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support seniors on larger assignments by completing tasks allocated to standard required by senior, receiving feedback, and discussing it with the senior to learn from it and apply next time.
  • Run smaller assignments with assistance from other members of the team as required, completing assignments for managers and supervisors to level required, delegating tasks to new trainees, and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Pass professional exams by meeting all deadlines and dates set, meeting all requirements of the Rouse Partners LLP training policy, planning study throughout the year, producing consistent link results above class average, and completing the requirements of the Initial Professional Development Programme.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Maintain high professional standards of conduct and practice, maintain awareness of changes in ICAEW guidelines and internal systems, and have effective use of IT including Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook, and CCH Practice Management.
  • Undertake CPD in accordance with Institute and Rouse Partners requirements and maintain up-to-date CPD record, studying towards ACA (Professional Stage), and maintaining concentrated effort in exam study and link tests.
  • Apply knowledge of Rouse Partners, industry, markets, and core client base, highlighting potential business opportunities to line manager, and be able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively.
