Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Join Halfords, a leading retailer in the UK, as a Senior Finance Analyst in our Support Centre in Redditch. This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days of work from our office and the rest from home.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Analyst to provide financial support to our Retail B2B Leadership team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance improvements through leading commercial reporting and insight into operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide accurate and timely financial information to the Retail B2B Leadership Team, including relevant KPI analysis.
  2. Support the Retail B2B Leadership Team in understanding and managing costs while driving operational efficiencies.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Partner to provide the right balance of challenge and support to the B2B Leadership Team around commercial decision making.
  4. Lead on month-end reporting for all retail B2B, providing variance analysis to budget across all B2B revenue streams, and business partnering with stakeholders to ensure that cost lines are accurate and complete.
  5. Lead on the budgeting and reforecasting processes during the annual business cycle for all retail B2B cost lines across each revenue stream.
  6. Track Opex/Capex project spend for cost lines.
Requirements:
  1. Experience within Retail or a fast-paced sector, preferably FMCG.
  2. Part-qualified at Strategic level, studying towards either CIMA or ACCA.
  3. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use Microsoft Access at a high level.
  4. Experience with using SAP is desirable but not essential.
  5. Absolute commitment to quality with a high attention to detail.
  6. Comfortable handling large quantities of data and analysing data to inform commercial decision making.
