About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate and efficient cost management to support the organization's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cost trends and variances for the management accounts.
  • Budgeting: Prepare the annual resource budget through collaborative discussions with budget holders.
  • Cost Management: Undertake regular reviews with budget holders and different departments across the organization, to develop accurate forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions in your area.
  • Best Practices: Implement best practices for cost management and control.

Requirements

  • Finance Qualification: Hold a relevant finance qualification.
  • Cost Analysis Experience: Have prior experience analyzing costs and working up costings and budgets.
  • Data Analysis: Have experience of analyzing data and trends.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Have knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
