Senior Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer

Experience an exciting opportunity with The Electronics Group as we seek to expand our team of skilled Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineers. This permanent position, based in the UK, offers a unique blend of workshop and field service experience.
SalaryThe annual salary for this role is £41,300 - £55,400, inclusive of travel costs. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for annual bonuses up to £1,600 and a relocation package of up to £5,000.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repair on rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and coolers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical equipment, primarily in the heavy engineering sectors
- Undertaking workshop and field service activities, including reporting findings and recommendations
- Working independently to identify and resolve mechanical faults, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and legislation
A strong background in rotating equipment maintenance, combined with excellent customer service skills, is essential for this role. A full UK driving licence (preferably clean) is also required.

Prior experience in heavy engineering sectors, particularly rotating equipment and mechanical maintenance, is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications such as ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent in mechanical engineering are also an advantage.
