Packaging Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Technologist to join our team at Pineapple. As a Packaging Technologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative packaging solutions for our furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new packaging solutions that meet project briefs and requirements.
  • Ensure packaging materials meet set specifications and standards.
  • Research and develop sustainable packaging strategies.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver packaging specifications, costings, and trials.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and practicality.
Requirements:
  • Formal education in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Graphic or product design background with an interest in packaging.
  • Excellent administrative skills and competent use of Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
  • Ownership, positivity, and responsiveness.
