We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Allied Health Professional with considerable community experience.
The post holder will build strong links with primary care colleagues and secondary care services, ensuring effective pathways are in place. An element of the role will include providing training relating to perinatal mental health for other disciplines.
Key responsibilities include assessing, formulating, and planning treatment processes. The successful applicant will be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

Requirements- Recognised Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor, clinical educator or equivalent.
- Trained in providing clinical supervision.
- Evidence of training in clinical supervision of other staff and able to demonstrate competence in this area of practice.
- Postgraduate diploma (or above) in a subject relevant to the area of practice or be willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years.
- Equivalent clinical experience to that of a Post Grad Diploma/master's level such as working as a band 6 (or above) in a relevant clinical area with significant experience, together with evidence of relevant CPD.
- Experience of assessing and managing risk (harm to self, others, and safeguarding).
- Involvement in quality improvement activities.
- Clinical Risk Assessment and Management and its application in practice.
