About the Role

This is a critical position that requires an experienced renal trained nurse to work in partnership with the Matron as an integral part of the Nurse Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting cross-site collaboration and ensuring units provide the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of nursing personnel issues in a timely manner in accordance with Trust policies.
  • Proposal and implementation of department policies that underpin the continuous improvement of patient care and services.
  • Participation in service planning, taking into account corporate, department, and professional objectives within a clinical governance framework.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse educated to Part 1 of the NMC Register.
  • Post-registration qualification in renal specialty, including recognised Renal course.
  • Teaching qualification - Mentorship and preceptorship/Practice assessor course.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
Salary and Benefits:
  • An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
