Clinical Psychologist

About the Role
We are seeking two clinical, forensic, or counselling psychologists to join our team at AWP Secure Inpatient Services. The successful candidates will have an interest in working with individuals who present a significant risk to others, particularly those with psychosis.
Main Duties
The roles will involve providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching, and staff support, as well as supervision and collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team. The successful candidates will need to be adaptable, creative, and have good communication and team working skills. They will also need to have experience and/or interest in working with individuals with significant mental health difficulties, such as psychosis.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in clinical, counselling, or forensic psychology, and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also have experience of working with complex mental health problems and an interest in working in a forensic setting. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate evidence of team work, resilience, and self-awareness, as well as being organised and able to work autonomously.
