We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at VP Forensic Ltd.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide 24/7 support to a female client with an Acquired Brain Injury in her own home, working on a 2:1 basis. The role requires a high level of physical and emotional stamina, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to the client, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Support the client with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Engage in activities that promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements:
- Female only: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010.
- UK residency: We cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
- 12-hour day shifts: We require a flexible and committed individual who can work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
