About the Role:

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead a variety of complex software technology projects for our pan-European equities and derivatives markets. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the definition of European roadmaps with senior management, product, and technology teams. You will also manage the day-to-day delivery of key roadmap level projects, ensuring all project lifecycle artefacts and ceremonies are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the definition of European roadmaps with senior management, product, and technology teams.
  • Actively managing the day-to-day delivery of key roadmap level projects from inception through to production.
  • Leading cross-functional meetings throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring stakeholders and team members are aligned and complex topics are tracked and resolved.
  • Partnering closely with Product Managers and Software Engineering Managers to ensure product requirements are documented with rigor and in sufficient detail for technology teams to implement.
  • Providing transparency of project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies on a regular basis.
  • Contributing towards driving operational stability by ensuring teams learn lessons from outages and deliver on follow-up actions.
  • Collaborating with the project management team globally to refine our project management best practice and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong track record of leading significant software project delivery from inception through to production.
  • Strong understanding of equities and/or derivatives markets.
  • Aptitude to learn our technology stack at an architectural/logical level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Assertiveness and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of working in a highly regulated, operationally efficient, and stable environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data analytics skillset e.g. SQL, Sigma, Tableau or similar.
  • Programming skillset e.g. Python or similar.
  • Linux/Unix based systems skillset.
