Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Panavision in Greenford, London.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our multiple sites through proactive monitoring, access control, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor security systems (CCTV, access control) and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of facilities and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage access control procedures and issue temporary passes to authorized personnel.
  • Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms and medical incidents, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Report incidents and maintain detailed records for future reference.
  • Support the Shipping & Receiving Department with collections, as needed.
  • Cover the reception desk, as needed, to provide a welcoming and secure environment for visitors.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with valid security training and first aid certification.
  • Experience in a similar multi-site environment with a focus on safety and security.
  • Experience using security technologies (CCTV, access control) to monitor and control access.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and visitors.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills to handle challenging situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with a commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern, including weekends and night shifts, as required.
