About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Data Assistant to join our team at the boohoo group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Procurement in modernising and managing the contract database and spend analysis, as well as tracking and visualising KPI performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently handle various Excel tasks, including data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Oversee the Procurement Tracking spreadsheet and contract database, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Assist Procurement Managers with tasks such as cost modelling, price comparison, and index tracking.
  • Facilitate and support the team in their validation of savings forecasts, liaising with finance counterparts where relevant.
  • Support the Head of Procurement with ad-hoc administration tasks.
  • Manage email correspondence, inquiries, and prioritise tasks to support smooth operations.
  • Support Travel Booker when required.
  • Ensure team rota is completed and shared with the team weekly.
Requirements
  • Strong administration skills with excellent Excel skills, including formulas, XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, Countif's, and reporting.
  • Intermediate-Advanced alternative MS Office skills (Word/PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable in helping to drive change and improvement.
  • Experienced in an admin/data analyst role.
  • Desired power BI experience or similar data and reporting software.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative in solving problems and passionate about continuing to innovate.
  • Can work well under pressure and analyse large data sets.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skill set.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time to meet deadlines and time frames.
  • Future responsibilities (if wished but not mandatory) in transactional buying and procurement activities as career development.
  • Financial/Retail background beneficial.
