Role Overview
- Evaluate and monitor market trends to generate daily price evaluations, market analyses, news articles, and reports.
- Engage daily with biofuels producers, traders, brokers, and other key market stakeholders, including government entities, to cultivate relationships and gather pertinent news.
- Contribute written content to relevant daily and periodic publications as well as the online news platform.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and industry events to establish connections, report on developments, and represent Argus Media in external engagements.
Qualifications
- A graduate with a robust academic background.
- Demonstrated capability to develop, source, and produce industry-relevant news under tight deadlines is preferred.
- Familiarity with the energy and commodity sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional writing, grammatical, and numerical skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to network and build relationships with industry leaders.
- Prior experience in financial or energy journalism is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus but not required.
