About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biofuels Analyst to join our long-term biofuels research team with a focus on Europe. As a key member of our Commodity Insights Agribusiness group, you will be responsible for supporting research and creating analytical content related to the biofuels markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain models and databases to inform long-term supply and demand, and pricing of biofuels.
  • Create charts, graphs, maps, and other visual content that illustrates trends in the biofuels markets.
  • Support research and analysis of biofuels markets, including understanding technical and chemical processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement research strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform research and analysis.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in biofuels research and analysis, with a strong understanding of technical and chemical processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
