Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biofuels Analyst to join our long-term biofuels research team in Europe. As a key member of our Commodity Insights Agribusiness group, you will be responsible for supporting research and creating analytical content related to the biofuels markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of biofuels markets, including trends, regulatory frameworks, and market outlooks.
  2. Develop and maintain models and databases to inform long-term supply and demand, and pricing of biofuels.
  3. Create visual content, such as charts, graphs, and maps, to illustrate market trends and insights.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and growth in the biofuels sector.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to inform our research and analysis.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in biofuels research and analysis, with a strong understanding of market trends and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a collaborative and flexible approach.
