Sweco is seeking a talented Highway Engineering Professional to join our teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We are currently looking for a skilled professional with experience of highway geometry design, undertaking elements of design from road geometry, drainage, and pavement to road restraint systems and traffic signs and road markings. You will be responsible for producing design outputs such as drawings, specifications, schedules, reports and calculations etc, to achieve the optimum solution for the project.

You will work in close collaboration with your team and other design disciplines and have an appreciation of their role. Ensuring deliverables are carried out within agreed timescales and budgets.

Our ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and be working towards achieving a relevant professional qualification. Experience of the planning and delivery of elements of highway projects or work packages on larger multi-disciplinary projects would be highly desirable. Strong experience of AutoCAD and a sound understanding of its integration with the BIM environment is also required.
