Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Dorchester area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in a classroom environment, working closely with the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in a classroom environment, as guided by the class teacher.
  • Working on day-to-day and pre-booked roles at various primary schools in and around the Dorchester area.
  • Opportunities to work 1:1 with SEND pupils, where required, if experience is applicable.
  • Working 1-5 days a week, based on your preference, with weekly pay.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or in a care environment.
  • Able to travel across Bridport, Lyme Regis, and Beaminster.
  • Enhanced Child-only DBS certificate, registered with the Update Service (Teaching Personnel can assist with this).
  • Safeguarding certificate (Teaching Personnel can assist with this).
  • Passion and drive to make a difference to young people in a learning environment.
