About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing vehicles and trailers to a high standard
  • Providing technical support and assistance to colleagues
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Operating and maintaining a range of equipment and machinery
  • Completing accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience as an HGV Mechanic in a similar role
  • Excellent working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, and workshop plant
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
  • HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and current ADR are desirable

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
