Key Account Liaison Professional

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Liaison Officer to join our team at Holt Engineering Recruitment Limited in Crewkerne. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless and efficient interactions between our esteemed customers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will provide high-level administration support to the Operations Team, encompassing responsibilities such as purchase and sales order management, logistics coordination, processing information through ERP systems, and timely communication to all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage both purchase and sales orders from customers, ensuring accurate entry and processing into ERP systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the ERP system, including purchase, sales, and tracking information.
- Collaborate with the warehouse dispatch team to schedule and dispatch orders according to customer requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and dispatch teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and logistics.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly, collaborating with internal teams as necessary.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding their orders and deliveries.
- Identify and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and customer requests, escalating complex matters to relevant teams when needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, transactions, order details, and logistics information.
- Generate reports as required for management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and order processing workflows.
- Strong understanding of logistics coordination and supply chain management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
What We Offer:
Holt Engineering Recruitment Limited provides a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 29 days with long service), discretionary bonus, salary sacrifice pension, four times annual salary death in service payment, and access to Westfield Healthcare scheme, including corporate healthcare plan, employee assistance program, wellbeing app, and discount scheme. A cycle to work scheme and EV salary sacrifice scheme are also available. Eligibility for employee share scheme after 12 months of service.
