Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based out of Devonport dockyard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Design Manager in the delivery of project scope, working closely with the Electrical Services Engineering Lead to ensure that electrical services related engineering work packages are delivered to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the development and implementation of electrical services related engineering plans and strategies.
  2. Supervise the completion of electrical services related engineering work packages to the required standard and within budget.
  3. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that electrical services related engineering work packages align with overall company objectives.
  4. Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to electrical services engineering.
  5. Provide guidance and support to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete electrical services related engineering work packages.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in an Electrical or Electronic Engineering related discipline. Preferably Chartered Engineer status and member of a relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience capable of registration with the Engineering Council at CEng level. The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
