Quartzelec is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Lead to manage and execute complex projects related to naval operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality services and ensure seamless project execution.

About the Position

In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including project planning, management, and delivery (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints, while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress and success
  • Conduct thorough analysis to estimate time and personnel requirements for project costing
  • Develop and disseminate method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance and safety

The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive background in electrical engineering, with experience in supervising ship service activities, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of HNC level in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in electronic systems and technologies
  • Practical experience in engineering and maintenance, including fault diagnosis capabilities
  • Proven expertise in engineering maintenance management and team supervision (up to 6-8 personnel)
  • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles
