Job Title: Diesel Fitter

Job Description:

We are seeking a Diesel Fitter to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and fitting a range of Diesel Pumps and Engines in our workshop and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake dismantling, diagnosis, and fitting of Diesel Pumps and Engines
  2. Repair work in the workshop on Pumps and Engines
  3. Customer site visits across Peterlee as required
  4. Attend callouts for breakdowns as per company rota

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in Diesel Fitting, ideally on Pumps or Engines
  2. Confident in your ability to strip, repair, and fit mechanical components
  3. Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee
  4. Full Driving licence - Non negotiable

Remuneration:

  1. £15.35 per hour
  2. Full time, 39-hour week
  3. Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30
  4. Overtime Available
  5. 33 Days holiday including public holidays
  6. Pension
