Diesel Fitter Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for dismantling, diagnosing, and fitting diesel pumps and engines in our workshop and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle and diagnose diesel pumps and engines
  • Fitting and repair work in the workshop
  • Split working between the workshop and customer sites
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in diesel fitting, ideally on pumps or engines
  • Confident in your ability to strip, repair, and fit mechanical components
  • Previous experience as a diesel fitter
  • Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee
  • Full driving license
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £15.35
  • Full-time, 39-hour week
  • Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30
  • Overtime available
  • 33 days' holiday, including public holidays
  • Pension scheme
