Reliant Resource Services: Energy Efficiency Technician

We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Technician to join our team on a contract basis with British Gas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining smart meters in residential properties, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and configuration of smart meters, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  2. Routine maintenance and repairs of smart metering systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining efficiency.
  3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to smart meter functionality, utilizing technical expertise to find innovative solutions.
  4. Maintenance of accurate and detailed records of installations and services provided, facilitating effective project management and quality control.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in smart meter installation and maintenance, with a strong understanding of associated technologies and best practices.
  2. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites, including remote locations, as required.
Benefits:
  • Self-Employed Option:£175 per day, £205 if you have your own van, plus a daily bonus of £30 on the 6th fitted meter.
    The company will provide a customised racked van, fuel card, tools, uniform, and other necessary equipment.
Estimated Salary:

£43,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
