We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to assist with weekend production in the factory. This role involves quality inspections on raw materials and finished products, ensuring specifications and procedures are adhered to at all times.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be organized and efficient. They will also be able to work on their own and as part of a team.
A key aspect of this role is inspecting pallets at the end of process to ensure full compliance against product specification. This includes correct shelf life being applied, correct labelling, and correct product coding.
In addition, the QA Technician will audit site personnel for compliance against site hygiene rules and report any non-conformances to the QA Supervisor. They will also obtain product samples from all stages of the process for analysis and review over shelf life in accordance with customer requirements and site procedures.
