Job Description

Orona is a leading company in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps, and walkways. With operations in 100 countries and 300,000 lifts worldwide, we are committed to providing innovative solutions to our customers.

We are currently seeking a Trainee Lift Engineer to join our growing organisation. As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical or Electrical background, demonstrated through education or recent work experience. Ideally, you will possess one of the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering

You will be responsible for following instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to develop and learn new skills.

As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will have access to internal and external training opportunities, including accredited LEIA and LITS qualifications. You will also be eligible for our GP24 service, access to eye test vouchers, and awards for long-term company service.
