Trainee Lift Engineer Opportunity

Orona UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Lift Engineer. As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps, and walkways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced Lift Engineers in the installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts and escalators
  • Gain knowledge and experience in the design and installation of lift systems
  • Develop skills in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Participate in the NVQ level 3 course in the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts

Requirements

  • Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated through education or recent work experience
  • Ideal candidates will possess a Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations, or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Willingness to develop and learn new skills
