Job Title: Audit and Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for managing audits, preparing accounts, and leading a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

* Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
* Prepare accounts for a diverse range of clients, including tax computations and financial statements
* Lead a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management
* Build trusted relationships with clients, providing exceptional support and guidance
* Deliver strong commercial awareness, identifying opportunities for fee development and growth
* Present work to Partners, completing files to a high standard and meeting deadlines
* Stay up-to-date with current legislation and compliance, ensuring audit and accounts matters are underpinned by the latest regulations
* Handle compliance queries from clients, providing clear and concise communications
* Provide quotes and estimate fees, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
* Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm
* Delegate work to and mentor new trainees, supporting their learning and development

Requirements:

* ACA or ACCA qualification, with experience of managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients
* Experience of planning and completing audits, as well as analytical reviews, accounts preparation, and work review
* Proven ability to supervise internal and on-site teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to clients
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
