Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Manager to join our client's team in Kent. As a successful chartered accountancy practice, they specialize in supporting owner-managed businesses and are looking for a professional to support the senior team with statutory audit and accounts preparation services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare accounts for a diverse range of clients, including tax computations and financial analysis.
- Lead a portfolio of clients, overseeing resource planning, WIP, and budget management.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, providing expert support and guidance.
- Deliver commercial awareness, identifying opportunities for fee development and growth.
- Present work to Partners, ensuring files are completed to a high standard and meeting expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation and compliance, ensuring audit and accounts matters are underpinned by best practices.
- Handle compliance queries from clients, providing clear communications and support.
- Provide quotes and estimate fees, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
- Mentor new trainees, supporting their learning and development.
- ACA or ACCA qualification, with experience managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients.
- Experience in planning and completing audits, analytical reviews, accounts preparation, and work review.
- Supervisory experience, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services to clients.
- Passion for work, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Competitive salary range of £50,000-£60,000, depending on experience.
