Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand Fermtech's market presence.
  • Create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral to effectively communicate the value of Fermtech's innovative ingredients.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food manufacturing, retail, and distribution sectors.
  • Represent Fermtech at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and establish the brand in the market.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
  • Provide regular reports on commercial performance, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales or commercial role, with a successful track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience in the food technology, protein, or flavour ingredients sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Strong ability to create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral from the ground up.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Good numeracy, ability with numbers, and ability to build financial models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
