Automotive Cluster Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cluster Development Specialist to join our team.
Job OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing instrument clusters, head-up displays, and other related systems to meet client requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing instrument clusters and head-up displays according to client specifications
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components
- Maintaining part BOM and configuration data for manufacturing plants
- Preparing functional specifications through collaboration with system owners and engineers
- Presenting project status at regular design reviews
- Reviewing and approving part drawings submitted by suppliers
- Managing validation of parts through in-house and supplier testing
- Resolving technical issues with test departments and suppliers
- Supporting vehicle development builds and resolving issues as they arise
- Conducting life cycle cost reduction initiatives and warranty investigations
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
- Understanding of basic electrical theory
- Experience in HMI-based part development
- Familiarity with automotive electrical architecture
- 1+ year experience with CAN communication
- 1+ year experience with software development V-cycle
- Familiarity with software validation methods
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location.
