Job Title: Community Paediatric Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Community Paediatric Specialist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Community Paediatric Specialist, you will be responsible for providing medical support and guidance to a multidisciplinary team, working directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families, and liaising with other external health providers and acute hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to babies, children, and young people across Barking & Dagenham
* Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
* Work directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
* Participate in the local Child Protection rota
* Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative

Person Specification:
* GMC registration with a licence to practice
* CCT or equivalent
* Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
* At least 2 years' experience in Community Child Health
