About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Highwood Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their daily routines, including personal care, mobility, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain personalized care plans, ensuring each resident receives tailored support and care.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive a high standard of care and support.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, with a passion for delivering exceptional care and support.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
