About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children to achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling life.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Monitor and record the children's development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the children, promoting their emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- A driving license to transport children to various activities and appointments.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, to ensure 24-hour care.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills in residential childcare, with support from our training team.
