Job Title: SEMh Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEMh Teaching Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Southampton. As a SEMh Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs in a school-based setting.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary and secondary school-aged children, as well as pupils with SEMh and challenging behaviour. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to pupils in the classroom, as well as their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with SEMh needs in a school-based setting
  • Provide guidance and support to pupils in the classroom
  • Work with pupils to develop their social and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive support package for pupils
