About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Advisory Governance professional to join our team in London. As a key member of our Financial Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality advisory services to our clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of assignments, including Skilled Person reviews, regulatory driven reviews, and internal control and assurance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including financial services firms and regulators.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on governance and risk management related matters, including corporate governance, board effectiveness, credit risk, risk management frameworks, SMCR, operational resilience, conduct risk, D&I, and culture.
  • Assist and advise on projects within other disciplines for clients outside the financial services sector.
  • Support the wider leadership team in developing client relationships and delivering the team's strategy and market propositions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in governance and risk management related roles within a professional services, consulting, or financial services firm or regulator.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of corporate governance, board effectiveness, credit risk, risk management frameworks, SMCR, operational resilience, conduct risk, D&I, and culture.
  • Interest in the financial services sector and strong commercial awareness.
  • Functional knowledge of the UK Financial Services regulatory environment.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Project Management skills and a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • People Management experience would be beneficial.
