Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Accommodation Support Officer to join our team. As an Accommodation Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our participants with their housing needs, working closely with probation practitioners to understand their specific requirements and create tailored accommodation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalized accommodation plans that meet their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation, and need, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our participants.
  • Record progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner using our case management system.
  • Maintain regular contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
Requirements
  • Experience or knowledge of accommodation legislation and the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for building effective relationships with participants and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, prioritizing the needs of our participants and stakeholders.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are completed to a high standard.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
