Job Title: Senior Wind Energy Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Energy Analyst to join our team at Climate17 | B Corp™. As a Senior Wind Energy Analyst, you will be responsible for developing original research for the Offshore Wind sector, delivering analysis through data research/modelling, written reports, client engagement, and public speaking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, collect, and analyse relevant Offshore Wind data and information, developing regular unique insights, presentations, and reports.
  • Support company thought leadership on Offshore Wind, taking a lead for a region or technology as appropriate.
  • Establish and build relationships with relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Speak at industry events and conferences.
  • Support business development, client retention, and product development where relevant.
  • Provide analytical support for the consulting advisory team.
  • Work collaboratively with others in the group on cross-sector initiatives and adjacent technologies, e.g. Hydrogen / Power-2-X.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Offshore Wind industry, with insight of key regions (e.g. APAC) or technologies (e.g. floating) a plus.
  • A track record of producing high-quality, proprietary, data-driven research and insight on clean energy industries, especially Offshore Wind.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • High standard of written and oral communication.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
