Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our team at Pearson Carter. As a key member of our Microsoft Technology Recruitment team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the security of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and network security.
- Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions, including SAN and Hyper-V Server clusters, firewall rules, and policies.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Collaborate with developers to architect and implement secure Azure deployments and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security best practices and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our clients' security posture.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Active Directory administration, server and SAN hardware, and network security.
- Proficient understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Azure and Azure AD, Microsoft SQL Server administration, and corporate-level firewall management.
- Relevant Microsoft or CompTIA qualifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
