Special Education Needs Coordinator Role

Reeson Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to cover a maternity role on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will join an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School in West London and have the opportunity to contribute to the school's senior leadership team.
Responsibilities- Coordinate effectively with the senior leadership team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEND, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
- Lead on assessments and provision for students with SEND, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Collaborate with external agencies to secure additional support and resources for students with SEND.
- QTS qualification.
- Experience working as a SENCO or in a similar role.
- Leadership experience, preferably in a primary setting.
- Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
