About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Southampton, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of engineering project activities across multiple equipment.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including electrical system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals
  • Undertake on-the-job training and residential courses as required

Requirements:

  • Suitable completion of a recognised Engineering or Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Experience of heavy industry engineering
  • Reasonable level of numeracy and literacy
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Able to follow and understand technical drawings
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
