Job Title: Care Assistant - Children
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Care Assistant - Children to join our team at Resilience Personnel Ltd. As a Care Assistant - Children, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a care home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support to children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Assist children with daily living activities, such as washing, dressing, and eating.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Chart daily observations, mobility activity, and eating percentages to aid continued client assessment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK documents (Passport & BRP)
- DBS (Must be on Update Service)
- Training Certificates (Safeguarding Children and Children's Protection training is a must)
- Proof of address
- Bank Statement
- Reference Details
- NI Document
- Vaccine pass
- Driving license
- A clear picture of yours (For Profile)
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a care assistant, working with children.
- A passion for providing person-centred care and enhancing the quality of life of residents.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including wake nights and weekends, as per the agency's rota.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
