Job Title: Senior Principal Designer

Flagship Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Designer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality design solutions for our clients.

About the Role

This is a client-facing position that requires strong communication and project management skills. You will work closely with our clients to understand their design needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for residential and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA) and other relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with our clients to develop and implement health and safety strategies across multiple sites.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of practical experience in design consultancy, preferably with a strong background in building surveying or building services discipline.
  • Professional qualification in designing, building surveying, or building services discipline, with membership of an approved membership body (e.g., IMaPs, GradIOSH, or NEBOSH National Certificate).
  • Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety principles within the construction industry.
