We are seeking a passionate and seasoned chef to join our team at Chilled Pubs. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Head Chef in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and ensuring we retain our 5-star food hygiene rating.
• Demonstrate expertise in fresh food preparation and cooking techniques, adhering to our company specifications.
• Assist with stock control, stock takes, food orders, and daily deliveries, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
• Work closely with senior chefs to develop your leadership skills and promote a positive team spirit.
• Lead the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs, striving to exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and lead the kitchen team effectively.
