Medicines Management and Dispensary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medicines Management and Dispensary Technician to join our Pharmacy department at The London Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the provision of a safe, efficient, and accurate dispensing service to all pharmacy users, including the dispensing of controlled drugs and oral chemotherapy.
  • Support and direct the workflow of all dispensary staff, ensuring SOPs are followed and standards are maintained.
  • Assist ward pharmacists and NMPs by providing advanced medicine optimisation with clinical prioritisation.
  • Perform Medicine Management duties in allocated wards, including assessing patients' own drugs, drug history taking, near-patient dispensing, discharge facilitation, and annotating drug charts.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Medicines Management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
