Residential Childcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. The successful candidate will provide 24-hour care to a vulnerable young person with autism and behavioral difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work effectively as part of a team to provide a secure, safe, and supportive environment for the young person.
- Support the young person with early trauma and emotional behavioral difficulties.
- Take the young person out into the community and to school each day.
- Maintain professional boundaries and work to National Care Standards.
- Work to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in UK-based Residential Childcare.
- Flexibility in the roles undertaken.
- Strong communication skills.
- Registration under the PVG scheme.
- Full driving license.
- Preferably obtained SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
