About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Environmental team at Atelier Ten. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining a range of projects, providing specialist knowledge to internal teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality project information.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry benchmarks and internal standards to deliver considered and accurate project information.
  • Provide consultancy services for environmental design, sustainability benchmarking, building energy optimisation, daylight & shading design, sustainable systems, materials, waste, and building physics.
  • Commit to the development of high-performance and sustainable buildings through the application of technical standards, costs, and programme.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other members of the internal & external design team with clarity and confidence.
  • Maintain project overview, explaining the status of relevant sections of a project at any time.
  • Report any feedback or issues concerning the project and address accordingly.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and other members of the design team.
  • Undertake an element of business development, leveraging key contacts to secure new or additional work for Atelier Ten whenever possible.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully co-ordinating and delivering sustainable & environmental design.
  • Proven track record of engaging and negotiating with senior management and peers on projects.
  • Proven track record of a commitment to and effective implementation of consistent standards and metrics.
  • Practical knowledge of managing small project teams coupled with the understanding to select frameworks/tools that are appropriate to circumstances.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise and to think strategically about the timing and delivery of project information.
  • Effective IT skills for producing relevant material, including knowledge and application of building physics packages.
