At Long Term Futures Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

We are working with a well-resourced and forward-thinking SEND school in Barnet that caters to both primary and secondary students. The ideal candidate will have a background in special educational needs (SEN) and behaviour management, and will be patient, calm, and committed to creating positive learning outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt lessons, ensuring all students can engage and progress
  • Implement behaviour strategies to promote positive interactions and manage challenges calmly
  • Support students with their emotional and social development, fostering confidence and resilience
  • Contribute to the preparation of resources and assist in maintaining a structured, safe learning environment
  • Encourage active participation in activities, helping students to reach their potential

The school is a specialist SEND school in Barnet with state-of-the-art resources and facilities to support diverse learning needs. We cater to students from primary through to secondary, providing continuity and a tailored approach to individual needs.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £90-£105 per day, term time only
