Teaching Assistant for SEND School

A specialist SEND school in Hendon is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join their team. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care and education.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000, depending on experience. This full-time position involves working 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting children under 5 years old with identified needs, working in a class of 6 pupils with moderate learning difficulties, and assisting pupils with complex needs and profound multiple learning difficulties.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of each pupil. While prior experience in a school setting is not essential, having worked with SEN children is beneficial.
