Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Dispatcher to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching patient transport services to ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients between destinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate daily and future bookings within our Cleric controlling system, ensuring accurate resourcing and communication with sub-contractors, taxi services, and volunteers.
- Dispatch and manage operational crews to achieve contractual targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Receive and respond to patient transport requests and queries in a professional and polite manner, ensuring compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders.
- Perform general clerical duties, including data input, completing ad-hoc forms and invoices as necessary, and maintaining accurate records.
- Enhance the performance and quality of service offered to patients and customers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Liaise with other agencies, such as GP's, Nursing Homes, Hospital Clinics, and Wards, to ensure seamless patient flow and resolve any issues promptly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of dealing with customers or members of the public.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Collaborative and agile mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and taking responsibility for own actions.
